Affordable DJ, Invitations, and centerpieces??

Anyone know of aplace where I can affordable invitations, centerpieces, favors and a DJ??

I live in Long Island in Lindenhurst. :)

Affordable is a relative term. Do you have a budget in mind for each of these things or do you have a total budget? It would be helpful so that we don't just give you random suggestions.

Well.. I am really just trying to shop around right now and get some ideas. I am not getting married until the end of 2005. I really have a budget for the entire wedding...not each thing. Once I start actually booking things then I can layout a budget for each thing seperately.

Flowers by Burton in Huntington was the most affordable florist I found. They also did great work. I got my invitations from J&B Cards and Gifts in Merrick. They were fantastic to work with and had a good discount on invites. Mine were cheap, but that may aslo have to do with the fact that I chose a very plain style invite.

I live in lindenhurst too!!!

Anyway, i have not gotten favors or invites yet but My friend got hers at nowandforever.com and they were inexpensive and my SIL got hers at party city. For your budget, some halls include the centerpieces, mine is one of them so does Riveria in massapequa.
Burton (has been mentioned) and I have heard that Flowers Michelle are get prices too!

ETA: For a budget photographer with good quality that is, I would suggest Duet (photo only about 1500- 2000) and Marco Photography! Our DJ is pretty reasonable his quotes are on his site which is located under vendors!

I would check out Jack and Rose for flowers. He will work with you and he gives a disc to LIW girls.

Try In the Mood for DJ, they are in smithtown or ask 2003Oct10 who she used, they were about the same price.

Invites: Favorite THings Invitations, a board vendor, has a ton of books and they are discounted. Check out my review on the BRB.

CP's- don't know.

Favors: Michaels. They have a bunch of frames that can be used as the place card holders then you can put your TY pic in them. Sometimes they have wedding stuff 30% -40% off or you can use the coupon in sunday's newsday.
