Salon or at your house/church/hall? Poll please!

Is your hair person coming to you or are you going to the salon? I am having a hard time finding someone to come to me and wondering what everyone else is doing.

The makeup person should definitely go to your home; as for the hair, it's all right to go to the salon, just make sure you get there really early or have an appointment already set up.

Another option is, many vendors on this board will do your make up and style your hair and are willing to come to your home to perform these tasks. Have you checked with any of the vendors on this board?

Thanks Erica I did. First, almost all were booked for my day already, but
My main issue is that the ones on this board except one person, charge a lot for BM hair and I dont want them to spend that much (around 100) and don't think they should have to.
The other issue Im running into is since my wedding is on a sunday a lot of salons are closed. I have makeup, thats not an issue at all. Its hair people I am having trouble finding.
I have looked and looked and looked and relentlessly called but its starting to seem like a lost cause-so I started the poll to see if I shoud give up.

I went to the salon early in the day to have my hair done, and then had the make-up person come to the Hotel right before we went to take pictures. Its hard to find a hair stylist that will travel, especially on the weekends, because thats usually when they are busiest.

my wedding isn't until september and already I'm running into the same problem with finding a hairperson...ours is on a Sunday too...I know how you feel...good luck!
