Is flounder ok to eat while pregnant?
I bought some Turbo which is like flounder and I want to bread and fry it. Is this ok to eat while pregnant? I am not a fish eater but will eat this once a year because it doesn't taste fishy at all.

I don't remember the rule on fish ever, so I just stayed away from it the whole time. I really don't like it much so this was very easy. I am sure one serving is fine, but go ahead and ask your doctor!

Flounder is fine for you and actually very good. The fish to stay away from are swordfish, tuna (in large quantities), makerel, and tilefish. these contain large quantities of mercury which isn't good for baby. But try and eat other fish frequently as it gives your baby 'brain power'!
