It's Official....I'm living with FH in his parents' house

Most of my stuff is here...just have to do the last minute closet clothes and the dresser.....I figure it will be about 2 weeks to readjust from being on my own

Good luck. I've been living with FH and his parents since May, I thought it would be really easy, because I get along with them so well, but I'm warning you... it can be more difficult than you think. The only consolation I get is knowing that doing this is helping us to save money. If we can survive this, we can survive just about anything. I love his parents dearly, and appreciate all they have done for me in the last 6 months, but... I can't wait until we are out on our own. It can get very taxing at times. Just thought I'd warn you. I live with my DH and his family. Have been since May

We hope to have our own place by the time of the 'wedding'.

I never leave our room. He goes out and gets our food and brings it back. Its hard cause everyone here speaks Chinese but me. So I feel left out or out of place. They are very nice and we have no problems. Im just not comfortable. Thats to be understood I guess. Thank god I have a TV and computer in this room.

Can't wait to be back on my own again!

We live in FIL's house also. It helped us out completely with paying the wedding off. It does get hard sometimes though. We have our own one bedroom apartment in the back of the house which is great, but we really don't get alot of privacy.
After we are married we will hopefully buy a house-I know that he wants out just as much as I do....

My brother and sister-in-law lived with us to save for a house. And it was so cool. There was always someone to hang out with, have breakfast with and go out with. There were no problems at all. We really enjoyed them.

Good luck, I am in my FH parent's house too. Been there since June 1st. So far not too bad, I did miss my apartment for thanksgiving and decorating with my decorations for X-mas. So worth it though!!!!
