Etiquette question about BMs & Groomsmen
My aunt is one of my BM's, So my aunt says to me today, "So you are making (her husband) an Usher, right?" Um, no, my FH and I weren't planning on it. If one of our BM's is married, is it customary to make their spouse a member of the bridal party?

No. IMO when you ask someone to be a part of your wedding it is becuase they have a special meaning to you. Bride picks people close and special to her and the Groom does the same.

Re: Etiquette question about BMs & Groomsmen
Nope, we have seven on each side in our wedding party. Only two are couples (married) and that's only cuz we are really close with both of them. One is my brother and his wife and the other is a couple of close friends. But, my girlfriend is married and almost of all his groomsmen are and none of their significant others are in the party.
