Re: Sandals St Lucia Question!

We went to Grande! They are both beautiful, and you will wind up visiting all three resorts while you are there because of the different restaurants. A lot of people from The Golf resort and Halycon would come to the Grande during the day because it is more of a beach resort.
Here are some picts of the grande:

Re: Sandals St Lucia Question!

We have been debating the same thing. I hear great things about both so we don't know which one would fit us more.

Ali, what do you mean by more of a beach resort? What did Grande have that the Spa didn't and vice versa? What were the atmospheres like? Sorry to ask so many questions but we are very confused here. Since you picked a great hall and a great month to get married in (wink, wink), I would like to hear your opinions. Thanks for your help.

By the way, those pictures are beautiful.

Re: Sandals St Lucia Question!

Hey again! I dont know too much about the Golf, because we didnt spend too much time there. We met a lot of people who were staying at the Golf & Halyacon who said the Grande had a better atmosphere, more of a party atmosphere, bigger and more pools, longer beach front, lots of water sports, more bars, things like that. People staying at Grande would travel to the Regency to go golfing and for dinner, so it depends on what your interests are. For me all I wanted to do was lay on the beach or at the pool and drink pina colatas. Maybe someone who stayed at the Regency Golf will be able to give you a good picture of what it was like staying there.

Re: Sandals St Lucia Question!

Thanks so much Ali. That helps a lot. We would want more water type sports and more pools and definitly a party atmosphere. I think we may go with the Grande. He can go play golf at the Regency when he wants. Thanks again for the help!
