Radio City Christmas Spectacular

Has anyone gone or is going this year? I want to take FH, he has never been! I used to go every year as a child but you just don't hear much about it anymore! As a child, I remember them kind of doing the same show each year!! Fun, though!!!

FH and i are going on Sat night!!! he proposed to me there a year ago on Sunday :) I love the show, it totally puts me in the Christmas spirit!!! I used to go all the time when i was little. The picture in my profile was taken about 1 minute after he popped the question!!

I have been there 5 times. I still think it is great. I just hate that people don't treat it more like a broadway show. People talking, kids kicking your chair (no offense to parents), people snapping pictures left and right. We went the last 2 years but we did not go this year.

I went for the first time 3 years ago, when FFIL took us. IT WAS GREAT!!!!!! i love the Rockettes

I went Nov. 15th and it was great. We were 18 rows from the stage. I had been to the show about 5 years ago and I don't remeber it being as good as this time. I took my daughter who is 7 and my neice who is 6 and they were in awe!! It really was spectacular.

We went last year with FH's family, we had orchestra level seats, and I loved the show (a girl I danced with in college is a Rockette, so it was nice to see her perform). But I have to agree with Jen_n_dale....if you have no patience for people who act like they're at a sporting event then prepare yourself to be annoyed. The family behind us was so annoying and loud and the kid (who was about 8) literally had his head resting in between mine and FBIL's seat, shouting 'look it's a Panda Bear, Look it's a wooden soldier, Look it's Santa!!' FBIL threatened to tell the kid there was no Santa if he didn't get off our seat!

Otherwise GREAT SHOW!!

I do always remember some kids being kind of loud and obnoxious!!! Partly excitement, part no discipline on the parents side!!

FI and I went right before Thanksgiving for the first time. We loved it!!!! It is something that we said will now be a yearly tradition.

I want to make it a tradition too, nice Christmassy night out followed by dinner or drinks!!! (Or both)!! I feel that since we got engaged nights out have to be more of an effort due to things being so crazy and us just trying to save money!!!
