ladies/ plainview BBB VENT!

I went there on lunch today, the new one
stick w/ westbury!! I purchased TWO ITEMS one regular item, one a yankee candle housewarmer, the cashier,
if you do go, dont go to MOHAMMED, gave me back a 20 off coupon b/c he said its not good on yankee candle products

I said they take it in westbury BBB on yankee candles stuff all the time, so he showed me it on the coupon where it mentions something about yankee candles and said they are not supposed to

MInd you that on saturday nite I got FOUR items at the westbury BBB, TWO of which were yankee candle stuff and I gave them FOUR 20 off coupons and they took all four

just thought I would share

I go to the one in Farmingdale.. it's small but it's good.. the one in Oceanside is good too.

Ill just stick to the other store! I always use those coupons on yankee candles and house warmers and no one ever gave them back to me!

no! That one's a great store! Haven't dealt with Mohammed though

i bought something there a few wks ago, saw a coupon the week later, and went back for the price adjustment with the receipt! i couldn't believe they let me do that....I was a happy camper.

well if they are going to be such sticklers lol when the westbury store just scans coupons no matter what you buy! lol

I just clipped another BBB coupon this morning and it clearly says it cannot be used for Yankee Candles, among a few other brand names!
if they're giving it to you anyway, I guess Westbury's the place to go!

is it that the cashier doesnt know any better or does it really NOT say 'not to be combined'.
I cant imagine a business allowing that!

Although I usually buy my Yankee Candles at the Yankee Candle store, I never got $$ off Yankee Candles at any BBB when I did buy them from there. It does say on the coupons, they are not good for Yankee.
I have to try BBB in Westbury, only BBB's don't have a good selection of scents or accessories like the Yankee store does.
And yes BBB always layers coupons, but you can't use 2 coupons on 1 item.

edited to say, I get coupons from yankee themselves

I haven't been to the one in Planview yet, but I usually go to Manhasset or Westbury. I take as many coupons as I have, but yes, they do say not good on Yankee Candle. Saving 20% on a $250 comforter is nice!!
