Marriage Certificate

I know this has been asked before I am sorry, and I couldnt find what I needed to know when I did a search. I just wanted to know 1- how far in advance can you get the marriage certificate 2- the offices (i know there is one somewhere in kew gardens and somewhere in manhattan and somewhere in long island) any one of those three are fine. 3- How much was it and who does the Money Order need to be made out to.

That is it. As soon as I get any info I am entering it into my palmpilot Thanks Heather

:)

Marriage Certificate

Marriage license can be obtained at any town hall on Long Island..I am not sure about Manhattan or Queens. It is good for 60 days from the day that you get it and you must have it at least 24 hours before you can get married(so don't wait til the last second). Not sure of the other info but I am sure that someone else will pass it along.

UPDATE - THE DRESS HAS REMAINED "LOST." I GAVE THEM UNTIL 2 WEEKS BEFORE THE WEDDING, AND THEN WENT AND LOOKED FOR A NEW DRESS. I WALKED INTO DAVID'S BRIDALS, SAW A DRESS I LOVED, PURCHASED THE DRESS AND WAS OUT OF THE STORE IN 15 MINUTES. I LOVE THE DRESS MORE THAN THE ONE I ORIGINALLY ORDERED WAY BACK WHEN. THANKS TO CONCETTA, I FOUND A NEW DENTIST TO FIX MY BONDING AFTER MY DENTIST DIED SUDDENLY. I NOW HAVE A BEAUTIFUL SMILE FOR MY WEDDING PHOTOS. THE MAID OF HONOR FINALLY PURCHASED HER DRESS LAST WEEK AFTER GOING TO CALIFORNIA FOR A WEEK'S VACATION.I AM STILL OUT OF A JOB HAVING BEEN "TERMINATED" BECAUSE I AM MARRYING MY SUPERVISOR. BUT I WILL WORRY ABOUT THE JOB LATER. AND THE MOTHER ISSUE - WELL - WHAT CAN I SAY. MOMS WILL BE MOMS. THANKS FOR ALL OF YOUR SUPPORT DURING THE LAST FEW MONTHS. I WILL BE THINKING ABOUT ALL OF YOU ON SUNDAY.

:)

You need to have the marraige license 24 hours before you can use it. In Queens there's a court house on Queens Blvd in Kew Gardens next to the family court house. Sorry I don't know the address. Call information and get the number. When you call please get the info for the times they will be open, they're not open all day. I think it's 9-11 then 2-5. Also PLEASE get a money order, they do not take checks, cash or credit cards. The money order is $30 ans should be made out to County Clerk Office. When you call the system will give you all this info. Bring your license, passport or some type of picture ID and at least 2 pens and your fiance must be with you. Good luck!!

Hi. We are trying to decide if we should have our pictures taken in Old Westbury Gardens or at the Bayard Cutting Arboretum. Does anyone know if they have websites???? The fee is a big thing. I know Old Westbury is pricy and Bayard is only per car. Any help would be great. Thanks

Anyone having an uneven number of ushers and bridesmaids? If so, how are you handling it for the ceremony and first dance? Any suggestions?

Marriage Certificate

We got our license in Patchogue (Brookhaven Town Hall). It was $25 and you didn't need a money order. Best bet is to call the town hall that you will be going to and find out what they require. Also if you want your middle name to appear on the license you must bring your birth certificate or your passport (assuming your mildle name is on that). Your driver's license only has your middle initial.

THANKS TO ALL FOR YOUR GOOD WISHES. BEST OF LUCK TO ALL OF YOU AS WELL. ONLY GOOD THINGS FOR US ALL.

Good luck. They are fabulous!!!!!
