got a honeymoon quote for aruba. Is this good ????

Fi and I are going to Aruba for 11 days, 10 nights. We would be staying at the Hyatt with their top of the line room(deluxe oceanview). Included in the cost is airfare and all those taxes and transfers. There are no meals, alcohol or activities included(we would do everything on our own).

$4000

p.s. the radisson was about 900 more for the stay which I was shocked about because I thought that the Hyatt was the most expensive one.

Is this a good price???

Re: got a honeymoon quote for aruba. Is this good ????

that sounds the norm for that length of time- we are staying on the opposite end of the island (Eagle beach)- for 5 nights and it's costing about $2400 with airfare and no meals...

Not bad, I went for 13 days, 12 nights and paid about $600 less but I didn't stay at the Hyatt.

I LOVE the Radisson there!

Re: got a honeymoon quote for aruba. Is this good ????

im paying, in feb for the worst month of the year, $5400 for 7 days 6 nights all inclusive at the Divi Divi which is a moderate priced hotel right onthe beach. Were paying that only b/c of the time of year we are going.

i didnt read your post- $4000 for no alcohol or food- no way... thats too much $$$

Re: got a honeymoon quote for aruba. Is this good ????

me and my fiance are staying in Maui from Jan 25 to Feb 4 fro a condo oceanview with a balcony a Mazda 626 and airfare on American Airlines we are spending 3200 so I think 400 for Aruba with no food or car is kind of expensive

We are going to Aruba in August for 8nights/9days and are staying at the Wnydham. It is all inclusive for all meals and drinks as well, airfare, hotel, etc. It is costing us $4,300. I think we are getting a pretty good deal, but we are going less days than you.

I stayed at the radisson and liked it better than the Hyatt.

Re: got a honeymoon quote for aruba. Is this good ????

We stayed at the Hyatt for our HM in November. We absolutely loved it!!! We only stayed 5 nights, then we flew to San Juan & took a 7 day Caribbean cruise. We paid about $4500-$4700 total for the entire HM: the airfares, our stay at the Hyatt & the cruise. So, I would think that your quote for August sounds about right considering the length of our HM's are about the same.

Re: got a honeymoon quote for aruba. Is this good ????

you should try and see what the all inclusive price would be, because food and drinks can really add up for that amount. I stayed at the Allegro resort which is all inclusive (I think it was right next to the Radisson)- see if they have a honeymoon package - its reasonably priced and the hotel was very nice, there may be a few more families there-but it was a nice mix of people and all the other hotels are right next to each other and when you're on the beach or at other activities, you will also meet other honeymooners.
