Amalfi Coast in Italy...

For those of you that have been to the Amalfi Coast... can you please tell me what there is to do there? Thanks..

I have been to Sorrento and Capri... The Amalfi coast is very mountainous and many of the towns are considered 'vertical' which makes for BREATHTAKING views. There are beautiful, yet rocky, beaches.... charming shops.... romantic restaurants.... hikes.... boat rentals.... cafes... gelato! It really is like paradise.

it is also where italians go during august on their vacations!

On my honeymoon I will be staying and Ravello and Positano.

Gorgeous! Great restuarants. Beautiful beaches, fantastic shopping, but not much of a night life. If you want to relax and rest and see nature's beauty, this is defintitely the place to go. If you want to party, I would keep looking.
