Mom wants to take me on a trip...where to go?

My Mom wants to take me on a 'mother-daughter' trip for 5 days/4 nights somewhere in late March...

Any suggestions? The thought so far is to stick to Europe:

Paris
Prague
Marsielles/Provence

Ireland maybe? (never been)

Help! where should we go?

Where can we go and see the most in 5 days?

Ireland would be great if you have never been. I loved it! So much to see.

Europe would of course be wonderful.

Where is your moms family from? Maybe you could visit there?

FMIL went to Amsterdam and it was beautiful.

I know...I feel very lucky to be able to do these things with her and that we are so close.


Her family is from Germany, but we don't want to go there

She wants France, either the south of France or Paris (she's never been)
and I want to go to Prague...

Any opinions on the two?

I have heard how gorgeous Ireland is too, so that would be nice also....

Any thoughts on the weather?

Prague might be a bit too cold for March???

It will be cold in Ireland then as well. And 5 days may not be long enough to really see that much.


I vote for Paris!

No matter what you pick it will be great!!! ENJOY and bring back pictures.

I have heard the same and have been dying to go....and I would totally agree if we were going in June!!! LOL!!! I just don't know how great it will be in March!

I think it's looking like either South of France or Paris....we'll see!!!!!

PARIS!!!!! b/c you will need to make a few trips there to really see it...so when you come home you will tell DH to take you!!!

Prague is beautiful...but I think you will have better weather in Paris...but not really sure about this...I would try to push it off until at least the Spring Equinox...so you get lots of light!!!

The only place out of thsoe I've been to is Paris but I LOVED it- lots of great food and amazing shopping!!!!!

I think most places except the Sputh of France will still be chilly

If you need info on Ireland I could maybe help, but fares might be pricey then for Paddy's day.

What about London?

Ireland during St. Patrick's Day would be nice.

I had a friend that went to Portugal with her mother and she liked it.

That sounds like fun. Wherever you go have a good time!
