Any ideas for centerpieces?
I have been looking around to see if I can come up with any ideas for boquets or center pieces and......NADA! I think I have some sort of mental blank on flowers! I do know that I want a romantic setting. The room where my reception will be held is dark, so I was thinking of having flowers and candels, with some rose petals on the tables. My dress is ivory with pink and my BM dresses are deep red.Can I get some ideas or maybe even some websites that can help?

Re: Any ideas for centerpieces?
I am shooting to $ave by cutting back on flowers. My mother is an artist and will be making tall centerpieces with beads (she got the idea from the chandelier in the room) and candles. We will need flowers for the church and bouquets, but at least we won't be $pending $100+ on centerpieces...
I'd post a pic, but don't have one

No unfortunatley I do not have a florist yet. I want to have some type of an idea before I meet with them.

Re: Any ideas for centerpieces?
I have a similar décor for my reception and I am also going for a romantic look. John from Flower Michelle is my floral coordinator and we are doing a topiary arrangement using all black magic roses. (If you do not know what black magic roses are they are absolutely beautiful deep red roses. When you touch them they feel like velvet) The pedestal has 8 short branches of votive candles around the topiary. There will be ivy going down the stem of the pedestal and at the bottom rose petals and six more votives. This arrangement is not intrusive or overdone. IMO it is perfect. We fell in love with it when we saw the sample at our first meeting with John. I wish I had a picture to show you.
