I know this has been asked before . . . Those who are spending (or have spent) $4500 or less on an all-inclusive honeymoon . . .
Where are you going (where have you gone)and for how long. We do not want to spend anymore than $4500 (NOT including spending money) We want something all-inclusive and BEAUTIFUL with decent nightlife- also very private. Please let me know where you are going (or have gone), how long you are going for, about how much you are spending, and if you can, who you booked the HM with. THANK YOU!!!!!
Please FM me if you feel more comfortable

I also went to Aruba. It has everything that you are looking for EXCEPT, not much of a night life. Unless, like myself, you enjoy gambling, because we spent time in the casino every night.

LMAO, we spent more than a little time in the Casino every night!
It depends where you go for the nightlife...downtown is much better than the hotel strip.
Where did you stay?

We also went to Aruba, it was about $5K with all inclusive 6 nights 7 days, we wouldn't do all inclusive again, but this was a special occasion and wanted to 'try' it out. It also included non-motorized sports at the resort, we stayed at the Wyndham. Let me know if you have any other questions

I spent less than that on my vacation to Mexico last May. It was all inclusive and a very nice place. It is a very large resort however. There were tons of couples there on their honeymoon. The resort had some nightlife (shows, bars, a disco) - but you could take trips to nearby Cancun if you really want more. It was around $3K for 2 people - all inclusive and including some excursions you can take for free (like a trip to Tellum to see the ruins). We went for 7 days. All rooms have a jacuzzi and private balcony with a hammock. The only think not included was the spa services. The resort is Adventura Spa Palace and it is in the Riviera Maya part of Mexico - about an hour past Cancun. If you want more info - FM me.

Nancy, we stayed at the Wyndam, and yeah, we spent more than a little time in the casino, too. So much so, that this year, we are going to Vegas! I can't wait. We actually won several hundred dollars on our honeymoon and we bought ourselves watches. I am hoping for similar results in Vegas

DH & I am thinking of this for a vacation this year...do they have gambling at Adventura Spa Palace in Mexico? DH loved going to the casino when we were in the Dominican Republic. BTW, we did a vacation in DR in Santo Domingo, it was all inclusive for about $1400 total for both for 7 days 6 nights. I dont know if you would want to go there on you HM though, there is not much to do outside the resort.

hmichick- No casino at the Adventura. They may have had a trip to another resort that did but we didn't look into that. They had a casino night where they gave you fake money and had a casino set up for a few hours and you can play for fun - lol. The resort I stayed in DR had a casino and the trip was inexpensive, all-inclusive and nice too - Iberostar Bavarro - the casino was in a connected Iberostar - either Iberostar Dominica or Iberostar Punta Cana - but the Bavarro had the nicest accomodations of the three...but you can use the facilities of all three resorts if you stay in that one.

just FYI...DH and I went to HI in 2001 and it was $2K total (not all inclusive) through Deltavacations.comI'm sure with the extra $2500 you could upgrade a bit and deal with food...?
OMG was that 3 years ago already??? prices have probably gone up too
