I just met with Judith Gardner, wedding coordinator

And she's SO NICE! I'm so excited and relieved! (oh, and really, really inexpensive too!) She's my day of coordinator!

What does a day of coordinator do? Isn't that what Banquet Manager and Bridal Attendant are for?

good question!! I am getting a little freaked out and feel like I may need a day of coordinator. If you dont mind me asking, how much does she charge, and how long does she stay with you?

Nah, the Banquet Manager handles the reception serving staff and the Bridal Attendant follows you around. A Day of coordinator makes sure that EVERYTHING runs smoothly so that you're not being asked 100 little questions all the time. She makes sure the cars get there, makes sure various things are set up the way you want them, is the go-to person for all the vendors, and just makes sure your day is stress-free. I'm so hands on that I'm really glad to have one.

Judith is $150 for the day. I called her references and they both loved her, and you don't have to pay her until after the wedding! She's so nice!

I was just talking with FH about it and saying that I could always wait to hear how you liked her!!

we're thinking about it now though - there are so many pain in the butt things to deal with that day!!

I'm an anal-compulsive/control freak (in a good way) and I can see myself getting stressed very easily on the wedding day that I've been planning my whole life.....FH and I are liking this concept of a Wedding Day Coordinator...hmmmmm........
