I let me bridesmaids pick out their own shoes, i have not seen any of them, I simply said closed toe and satin.

mine aren't wearing the same. i'm letting them pick their own out as well.

I was in my sisters wedding, we all had different style shoes, but all the same color. We had to dye them to the color of the dress.

I just told them that I wanted them to wear dyeable shoes. They can be open toed or closed.

i'm not telling my girls to wear the same shoes either, i just want them to all have the same color....just as long as they're all comfy...
and lately a few of my friends that have recently gotten married, have purchased as an extra gift for their girls....those ballerina slippers in the same color as the bm dress or as close to it as possible...just in the event they're feet are killing them, they can slip those on and not go barefoot...I want to do that for my girls, and i was going to get a white pair for myself...just in case...

They picked the style. They did get a showe with the same color as the dress. But, I am pretty pissed that one of My Bms decided to get black. I just hope the dress is long enough not to show her shoes. But, I cannot stress about it.

I was in a wedding last summer where we wore tea-length dresses and identical shoes. It made a really nice picture. If the shoes aren't showing it doesn't matter.

but i would suggest keeping either all open or closed toe if possible. i will be requesting that my girls wear brown, closed toed shoes...

I think the bridesmaids should be able pick their own shoes. Unless they wore a 3/4 dress they should all wear the same. Is that bad that I would want that?
