He said he will ask, but he doesn't want to sound CORNY.. he's a dork.. how did your men do it????

I think Tom said to his friends....'want to be in the wedding' or something like that. he actually TOLD his brother that he would be the best man!
we also took one of his friends out to dinner to ask him and it was really sweet. he was very excited about it

He replied, yeah, of course.

Other than that it's my 2 brothers, and FW's brother.

He could ask the way the FH asked his friends. He wasnt sure if he asked one of the guys (we are only having a BM and 1 groomsman). So on New years I was talking to a bunch of friends I havnt seen in a while and they were like who is in the wedding party i was like oh xxx and zzz too bad zzz girlfriend was sitting there and later said something to him b/c he approached Fh later and was like dude when were u going to ask me. FH's response was oh i thought I asked you a few weeks ago at the bar but we were so drunk I couldnt remember.

Duh 2 people adn he couldnt even remember if he asked or not.

I don't think he officially asked. When we had our engagement party we said it was just for family and member of the bridal party with their dates. Whoever was invited knew they were his groomsmen. I don't even think he asked his brother, I think it was just kind of understod.

My FH asked his guys at various times over dinner and/or drinks. He usually just said something like, 'so, I was wondering, would you be in the wedding party.' He always felt kind of awkward doing it, but all the guys were very happy to be asked.

having the same issue - so what ends up hapening is he hands me the phone and tells me to ask them - talk about corney
geesh - but hay at least we have a few - wish he woudl just ask the rest already
