Hi Ladies. Sorry, finally here's a quick update on my MIA status

I know a few ppl have FMd me and called me and I haven't answered.

Just so much going on and I'm really really tired, and just down.

So on Friday morning, the 23rd, I lost my job. Yes, the job I traveled 50 miles for now over 1 1/2 years. The company, which has bigger offices in other states, decided to shut down the NY office, so everyone in NY has lost their job.
No prior warning, in fact we just renewed our lease. So w/o a clue, I'm now unemployed as most of you already know by now, but it's still stressing me uncontrollably.

If that weren't enough, my MIL is not getting any better. SHe is still hospitalized, and will no longer get treated for her Cancer, it is just too far gone now. Tomorrow she's headed for the Hospice center. Hopefully however much longer she has with us will be comfortable.
It's so much to bear, to try and hold up DH. To try and help him take care of the 'business' as he's the most responsible in his family on his Mom's side. And of course, he doesn't know anything about banking, etc. . . so me, the banker, is assisting in all that stuff, and I'm very much involved in the process and decision making.

This just really takes me back to my Mom's death as the 4 year mark is steadily approaching Feb. 4th.

So to my friends, and loved ones that I have abandoned for the moment.
Forgive me. I just can't be social at all right now and have to take some time off from being a friend.

Hey Liz!

I totally understand your situation and I can't even imagine having to go through what you and Kasson are going through at this time. I pray that God will comfort and bring you both through this very soon.

My heart goes out to Kasson's family b/c I know this is a hard time. If we don't hear from you at this moment, we totally understand. We are all here and not going anywhere.

I am so sorry to hear everything that you are going through. I am don't have the words to begin to explain to you how horrible I feel. I will continue to pray for your MIL and the family as well.
