Hawaii girls...

What can I expect to pay for a 2 week Hawaii vacation? How did you go about planning and where did you find the best deals?

Thanks!

Re: Hawaii girls...

We are going to Maui (6 nights at Hyatt), Kauai (4 nights at Hyatt) and Ohau (1 night at Sheraton Wakiki) . We have a convertabe on Maui & Kauai and breakfast buffet each day. This, plus or airfare to/from Hawaii plus 2 interisaldn flights came out to about $6,500.

We booked our trip through our travel agent in Woodbury who I would highly recommend. FM me if you want her information.

Re: Hawaii girls...

I'm going for 15nights 16days my fiance and I have a timeshare so we are using it in Kauai at princeville for $300.00 and the airfare was 1600 for the both of us!! so all together $1,900!! But we were fortunate enough that his parents gave us the timeshare if not the trip would of been well over $6,000!!

Re: Hawaii girls...

We are going on a 15 day Hawaiian Cruise from Princess Cruises. It leaves out of LA and stops in four islands (Big Island, Oahu, Maui and Kauaii). The cruise itself with a oceanview balcony view room is $4880. We got the cruise through smartcruiser.com. My parents used them for a cruise and was happy with the price and the service they got. We are very lucky, my parents are giving us their frequent flyer miles. I don't know how much a flight cost but I would imagine the total cost with flight would be about $6,000-7,000.

Re: Hawaii girls...

I am going to Kaui for 5 days staying at the Princeville. Maui for 5 days at the Westin. Then we are stopping in San Fran for 3 days to visit family. Our price is $5100 for two of us, including air, car rental and hotel. However, we only have breakfast at the Westin. Princeville does not include it unless you stay in a garden view room. We are staying in a partial-garden.

Liberty Travel in Jefferson Vally, NY.

Re: Hawaii girls...

mindy
I just returned on sat from Oahu, Maui and Kauai
If I had to do it again, I would book it exactly how you did. Only 1 night in Oahu! and More in the other 2 Islands.

I would say with spending money your should expect to spend 8,000-10,000 for 10-12 days.
Food is expensive and if you do a helicopter ride is it about 400 for 2. You can save $40 if you book it inadvance online

Re: Hawaii girls...

We are paying 4700 for 9 nights in Maui, this includes airfare, hotel, a convertible, and daily breakfast.
All of our excursions will probably total 2000. We figure we can do everything (including all meals) for about 7700. But we're hoping to spend less than that.
