what are you doing with young flower girl at wedding???

my fg will be 2 1/2 years old... her parents are trying to figure out what to do with her(nap wise and stuff) so she can be at the reception too...

church goes till like 3pm, reception not until 7pm... should she go home in between for a nap?
should she have a babysitter for the reception hall?

what should i do?

Depends. I have my god-daughter who will be 1 2 wks after we get married coming as my fg. Her nanny is going to come out and she will be w/ us for pics for as long as she's happy and then the nanny will have her. The plan is for her to stay for the cocktail hour and then leave when the actual reception starts- she and the nanny will go back to the hotel. My brother and SIL already got 2 connecting rooms so the nanny can put Emma down and when they come home they can go to sleep in the next room- it's like their '2 bedroom home away from home'.

my 21 month old niece stayed up the entire time, and didnt go to sleep until 3am....she was wide awake, dancing and playing...the other 3 ages 6, 3 & 3 were out like lights at about 9pm. They slept through all the noise, the parents either held them or put chairs together for them to lay down
