Father/daughter dance was 'Isn't She Lovely' by Stevie Wonder. We didn't have a mother/son dance.

father/daughter is 'My Girl' by the Temptations, but I'm using the chorus verse from 'Because you loved me' by Celine Dion either as a prelude to it or to end the dance because the words are so very true for my dad and I

FH and his mom will dance to 'You'll be in my heart' by Phil Collins....he wasn't too thrilled about the dance

For the father and daughter dance i picked 'Hero' by Mariah Carey. The mother and son dance is 'a song for mama' By boys II men.

I'm dancing with my dad to either 'You are my Special Angel' by Bobby Helms (oldie) or 'What a Wonderful World'. I'm torn!!! They are both so nice.

I'm not sure also...I was thinking either 'My Girl' by The Temptations, 'Lullaby' by Billy Joel, or 'In My Life' by the Beatles........but I'm still looking for more suggestions!

For my father/daughter dance I chose my girl by the temptations. When I was little I used to dance on my dad's feet to this song, it is very light hearted, yet meaningful.

HERE IS A UNIQUE IDEA - We had seperate songs picked out originally but now we're thinking to combine the dance with all four of us (mother/groom father/bride) and let our parents respective spouses join in (both of or parents are remarried) so we choose an instrumental piece called SKYLARK it is beautiful, we figured we could all just enjoy the moment dancing and twirling this way no one would feel left out or uncomfortable as a step-parent
