Need wedding 'theme' ideas for end of summer/beginning of fall wedding...

Our date is on 9/16/05...it's the end of summer and almost the beginning of Fall....I am not sure whether to have a fall wedding theme...or a more summery theme...or maybe a non-seasonal theme...I am open to any suggestions....

Here's my advice - pick something easy. You'll save yourself alot of stress later on. Look around at favors, placecard holders, invites, centerpieces, etc BEFORE selecting your theme and see what you are drawn to. There's TONS of stuff out there for fall themes, fairy tales, beach, dolphins, hearts, rose, etc. Don't worry that because there's alot out there it means it's overdone because you will personalize it all in your own way.

But once you start getting too creative with your theme, it gets much harder to find stuff. Had I known, I would have picked something easier to find stuff for!

We are getting married 9/17/04, and we are having a fall theme, that is because I love fall colors!

I'm a week after you... I don't think I'm having a theme. At first I wanted to do fall colors but I really like pink flowers so that changes that! I am having pink flowers and a tanish colored BM dress (possibly, this isn't official yet). I am doing a donation favor and maybe some candy too. The centerpieces will be hurricane glasses with pillar candles inside surrounded by votives and pink rose petals. I think this is more of a spring theme LOL!

me too...

i'm not having a fall theme per se, but my primary colors will be brown and ivory with orange and/or pink accents!

I am having a fall theme for my Nov 5th wedding.
How about an angel theme?
The flower girl can wear little angel wings and a halo and their could be glitter and sparkles everywear. You can have cherub candle holders as favors. Flowers can be in any color. I think you get the idea.
Whatever you do, pick something you love and that will make the day seem even better!
