October/November brides
Who has NOT booked their honeymoon yet? I'm really starting to stress over this. It's not that we don't know where we want to go, it's that we still have vendors to book and don't know how much we can spend on one. Anyone else feel this way?

Re: October/November brides
Completely! We are getting married in september and haven't done a thing about the honeymoon yet... don't worry, you still have time and Oct/Nov is not 'high season'...

Re: October/November brides
We haven't booked it. We can't decide where to go. He was looking into cruises, but I don't like that idea & I can't be more helpful, b/c I am trying to find a photographer & band & we are rethinking the ceremony location.

We haven't book yet! FH is in charge of this task and there is nothing more I can do to light a fire under his a$$!! It's starting to stress me but I don't want to nag him. We have our price quotes and our options but he hasn't decided where yet!!So -- I gave him a deadline. I told him if it's not booked by the end of this month (too much time!) I'm TAKING OVER!!

Re: October/November brides
I booked mine already a few weeks ago, and I am glad I did. We are going to Turks and Caicos, but there are not as many flights going and leaving from there as there are from most other places. The direct flight was nearly booked when I called for it, but I got on it.

We booked our HM to Bahamas a couple of weeks ago also. They only have 2 direct flights in and out a day so, we wanted to make sure we got on one.

We haven't booked yet, but FH is 'working on it'. We've narrowed it down to one or two places and are just making the final decision and looking for reasonable airfares.Don't stress just yet....you still have some time!

Re: October/November brides
i haven't booked anything, but we are probably not going anyplace foar away. i would love to, but we are going to save that money and take a nice trip at a later date. we are thinking of doing a bed and breakfast somewhere for a night or two. i'll still be in school and i am a teacher...so i don't have much time to take off...although as of right now i don't have a job for next year.

Re: October/November brides
Not bookedJim wants Vegas or Orlando
Im good with either but if we do the west coast I want: Pacific Highway, San Fran & Vegas (Jim is ok with that)
Orlando I find very.. uhmm crowded with children? Not my first image of a honeymoon.
I gotta feeling Vegas will win.
But no money to start the process.. I probably won't book until May.

Re: October/November brides
Yeah, unless you are huge Disney fans, I wouldn't reccomned Orlando as a honey moon spot. I did stay at a nice time share there once though, didn't do much disney related, but there's not much else. A lot of drinking by the pool. That being said, we may go there in June, with FH's aunt's 50th birthday.
for her, and because I like any excuse to take off from work.

Re: October/November brides
hi janinewe booked it early cause i knew exactly where i wanted to go and i got a great deal for booking early - i am sure we arent doing anything near as elaborate as most - but i figure it is about spending time together so we went with something simple -
dont stress about it you can go nearly anywhere on any budget if you know how to do it - if you need help call me (was a travel agent for alot of years i can tune you into where to look. )

Re: October/November brides
We haven't. We probably won't until early summer - we can't decide where to go and if we will be able to take more than a week off from work. (October is a busy month for us both).

Re: October/November brides
We haven't booked yet either. We finally went to a travel agent this past Saturday to start looking into places and costs. We got some good ideas so we will keep looking. I am nervous about getting this booked as well. I keep thinking the cost will go up the closer it gets.

We haven't booked yet either. We are still trying to find a band first. I want to see how much the other vendors cost first before we plan our HM. You still have plenty of time, don't worry too much.

We are just deciding between what hotels to stay at, and then we are going to book, hopefully within the next week!! I'm so excited, I just want to know where we will be staying so I can really starting daydreaming!! and planning!
