UI just got THE BIGGEST LUMP IN MY THROAT about Jenna....THe music was so sad, the saying goodbye, the hugs, the tears....WOW....

I was so glad that Jenna left when they showed the info at the end. Imagine if she had't followed her heart and gone home. She never would have forgiven herself. I was crying too.

She followed her gut feeling...great for her, and great that most were so supportive....but..how come Rubert seemed kinda mean about her leaving?

omg, i was totally crying. poor girl. i'm so glad that she got to see her mom during her last days. now she can at least be at peace w/herself. really brings to light how awful what jon did last season lying about his grandma was.

i think alicia was just trying to say what she would have done, but she always comes off as so abrasive.

interesting that the last two seasons had someone quit, hope it doesn't start a trend.

while i agree it was extremely emotional to see jenna go and then to read the news at the end that her mother died, i dont blame rupert for his reaction.
i kept asking myself why she went in the first place. like jeff said, it wasnt like she was receiving info while she was there.
OF COURSE it was a blessing for her to have the instinct to leave, but i guess what im saying is that i dont blame rupert or tom for questioning her. nobody knew her mother's fate at that time.

I did feel bad for Jenna, then felt a lump in my throat when at the end we find out here mother died 8 days later.

But I also feel bad for those other contestants who may have wanted a shot at it and couldn't !

I am happy she went home in time to say goodbye to her mother....She shouldnt of gone there in the first place though. The ending was pretty sad.

I'm glad that she got home in time...but I do agree with Rupert and Alicia...she shouldn' have gone...

her mom was really sick during the first one...all I can think is that its her youth that blinded her...her mom probably told her to go...and meant it...but still I wouldn't have gone

The whole time they were saying goodbye I was so annoyed. I REALLY thought she was just wimping out and using her mom as an excuse. I thought that if her mom were that bad she wouldn't have gone in the first place.
THEN when they showed the message about her mom passing away, I almost cried. I couldn't believe what a cold hearted BIOTCH I was...

that was a twist i was not expecting!!!! DH & I both teared up when they said her mom had passed away!

i wondered what would have happened if she stayed? would CBS alerted the show?????

I think it's pretty amazing how in tune her 'sixth sense' was. If she had waited just one more episode it might have been too late.

I felt the same way. I said to DH that I felt guilty afterward for questioning her and thinking she was overreacting.

I totally agree but I think that Alicia was very b*tchy about it. I was so glad when Kathy defended Jenna. I'm sure Jenna's own guilt was enough for her anyway without people she barely knows passing judgement on her
