11'er crashing- re: 2010 bridal shower

Hey girls!

The 2011ers want to throw a bridal shower and were trying to figure some things out.
I heard you guys got some sponsors? How did that work? Can anyone provide some details?

I would appreciate details of any or all aspects actually!

I would FM Stinenandy2010, Teri, cloudnine, or Summerbride10 (who is prob. on her HM at the moment)

They were all part of the planning commitee and I bet could give some great advice.

Summertimegal- Colleen was the 09 Bride who organized the 09 Shower...I am sure she can point you in the right direction for which vendors donated!

hi
i found a lot of vendors to donate to the 2010 shower. basically what i did was just sent an email to most of the vendors listed on this site. i let them know that we were having a shower and what it consisted of and asked if they would be willing to donate anything. i also asked if they donated if they wanted us to hand out business cards, flyers etc.
most vendors are more than willing to participate and have for the past few years so they are familiar with the whole thing. mention it is for LIW.

most vendors mailed me their donation. a few we had to pick up.
