YAY!!! Our mortgage was finally approved!!!

Woo Hoo!!!
I got the call this afternoon that our mortgage was approved and they faxed the papers over to my lawyer....they're overnighting them to me to sign them and then we can work on closing!!!
Finally!@@@
Of course, since it's SONYMA....it will take a while to close....but hopefulyl it will go smoother than the mortgage approval did....I'm not holding my breathe!
What a relief!
Perfect timing since our contract ended today!

i wish it would have happened on 2/10 though - becasue FH has it in his head that nothing but bad can happen on that day! for some reason.....he's freaked out about it - i think he had a nightmare or something and dreamed he would die.....very strange.
so that would have cubred his frea of 2/10 a bit perhaps.
But Friday the Thirteenth is fine by me.....

even though I am pretty superstitious!

I am so relieved and excited...even though I know it's not completely over for us, as we still have to officially close and I hear that is a huge pain as well......

We will have an offical LIW housewarming party as soon as we settle in - and yes, the THONGS will be at the top of the list!

Congratulations! That's great it finally went through! So, SONYMA really is a bit of a hassel, huh? That stinks, cause that's what we're hoping to be able to do - IF we can ever find something to buy.

And I Friday the 13th just makes it cooler!! (a little biased since I got married on one! )

From what I've been told, the prices you can get with SONYMA are totally worth the aggrivation you have to go through to get the mortgage - I hope that's the truth, because this whole process has been a hige pain in the you-know-what!
