Re: SO EXCITED I THINK WE ARE DOING AN ALL INCLUSIVE RESORT FOR 1 YEAR HONEYMOOM ANY SUGGESTIONS

Ive never been but I would like to try Sandals in Brazil.

Ive been to Breezes which I thought might be similiar but was not overly impressed for the money.

Also really want to go to Atlantis but I dont know if that counts as an allinclusive since you have to pay for your meal plan seperately.

Re: SO EXCITED I THINK WE ARE DOING AN ALL INCLUSIVE RESORT FOR 1 YEAR HONEYMOOM ANY SUGGESTIONS

What islands are you thinking about? In Antigua, Blue Waters is beautiful and so is Galley Bay. In St Luica, Sandals Grande St Lucian is supposed to the be the best of the 3 Sandals on the island. In Jamaica, there are so many nice hotels, Grand Lido Negril, Sandals Negril and Wyndham Rose Hall. In Cancun there are quite a few in the Riveria Maya area, Aventura Spa Palace, Iberostar Paraiso Lindo, Paradisus, Secrets Capri Riveria...

Hope this helps...or if you would like more suggestions, let me know what island you are thinking about.

Re: SO EXCITED I THINK WE ARE DOING AN ALL INCLUSIVE RESORT FOR 1 YEAR HONEYMOOM ANY SUGGESTIONS

Dh and I are looking into an all-inclusive vacation for April. The big thing we want is more than one restaurant (more than just the buffet) and a nice pool. Most of the all-inclusives that have large pools and more than one restaurant seem to be in DR and Mexico.

I have been to a couple in DR (Iberostar chain) and I recommend them esp. the Iberostar Bavarro. There are 2 new ones that opened in Santo Domingo and in La Romana that also look great. The Iberostars in Mexico are also suppose to be really good. I haven't been to either but I know people who went and recommended them to me. There are also Iberostars in Spain and such but I heard theya re a little older but nice.

In Mexico, I went to the Adventura Spa Palace in the Riviera Maya section and really enjoyed it. The Royal Hideway looks really nice there but is more money.

Right now - I think I am headed to Costa Rica-The Paradisus Playa Conchal. It is a little pricey (cheaper if you go weekday-weekday) but it looks like the nicest all-inclusive in Costa Rica. It is part of the melia chain.

Whatever you do, stay away from Sandals Antigua. The one in the Bahamas was better. We have been to both.

We were at Breezes years ago, and while we liked it then, it is probably a step back from Sandals.

I say St. Lucia, if you are in to relaxation and fun and everything including even the treatments, you should definitely try LeSport, we loved it and I think hubby might be taking me there for my b-day

You will love it there, the watersports, the golf, the food and I do mean good food, when I say we did not have to leave to eat, it was that good, all the massages, the facials etc, etc, were all included in the pkg. I felt like royalty, when our 5 days was up, to return home, I cried, literally cried and begged Roger if we could stay longer Oh the memories.

PS some all inclusive the food sucks, you might as well be paying for the food, when I say this food was good at all the meals and so much of it, I did not have one complaint.

PPS NO TV, but you get over it by day 2

Wacky if you want to watch tv you have to go to the recreation area. Your room is for relaxation, they are all about relaxing. I am sure your hubby will not mind having no distractions or hearing you roar

Ky, then this place might not be for you, but you would be surprised how you get over it. You spend so little time in the room it does not even matter. Why go all that way to look at TV anyway. We had a radio and it was good enough.

Jamaica or St. Lucia. Love Sandals in St. Lucia and in Jamaica there are so many great all inclusives. We Honeymooned at Sandal's Royal Plantation but Jamaica has a lot of good ones depending on your budget.
