Black and white wedding

Does anyone have any ideas for a black and white wedding?

I'm doing white on white (white flowers and linens). My MOH's dress (only one attendant) is in black, and I'm having black tie optoinal on the invite.

I think that B&W weddings are very formal so I hope that's what you're going for. I like B&W weddings to have splashes of color, like red or bold colored CPs. JMO

White on white is beautiful too! I am having my BM and MOH in black and I found a flower that is white with black center for a floater in the cocktail hour center peices. I am having white flowers for the others

I am not putting black and white attire on the invitation. I just like the color scheme. I thought about throwing in pink or lavender since it is in April but then I went back to white. I like simple. On the invitation it is black tie optional.

You could ask your guests to come dressed in black and white--women in black and men in white dinner jacket and black pants; your decorations could all be black and white, as well as favors; white flowers...

Black and white here also. My BM dresses are balck and white, my MOH dress is all black. The flowers are a soft pastel on the tables. The invites were white with black writing.

Not having a black tie wedding, we just like the idea of black and white. Plus when the BM's tried on the dress it looked so nice, I didn't want to order it in a different color because I was afraid it would not look as nice. So everything became a black and white theme from there.
