Grand entrance questions

Okay, first off, can I play three different songs, one for Parents, one for Bridal Party and one for us?

Here's the song we like for the Bridal Party. The first clip is a Real Player sample, the second a link to amazon, where they have a Windows Media player sample.

El Matador sample - Real player

Amazon page - Click on Matador

Also, I want the Bridal Party to enter in with their significant others, if they have any. 'Groomsmen John Doe, Brother of the Bride, and his wife, Jane Doe.' It works out well in terms of numbers - the singletons left over are even boy/girl combos. Has anyone seen this done?

Thanks!

Re: Grand entrance questions

hmm
i've never seen that but it is possible..DJ just has to do a little bit more work earlier then expected

Call them and ask them... i see no reason why they should so no... are you having a DJ and MC? just keep in mind, your guest would only here it for 30 seconds or so

Re: Grand entrance questions

I was going to do let my band play something short for the parents entrance, then FH and I are mixing up our entrance music....one for the bridal party, and then we'll pick a song for us and mix it into their entrance song

Re: Grand entrance questions

I think that's fine. You'll just hear less of the parents & BP songs.
Announcing the BP with dates is nice.
I am thinking of having mine dansce with their dates, expect there is one unattached, I don't want to make her feel like a looser by pairing her up with a cousin or something.
I guess if I was going to do that, I'd have to announce them with their dates as well.

Re: Grand entrance questions

I had 4 couples and 2 sets of parents and it was great, they all came in to a different song. The entrance is very short and quick.

Re: Grand entrance questions

My grandmother is being escorted down the aisle in church and being escorted and introduced at the reception with her grandsons (my cousins).
