Scheduled C-section... what should mom and dad bring to the hospital?
Hi!
My brother and his wife are having a c-section scheduled tomorrow morning (the cord is around the baby's neck and they want her out Soon)
Anyway, for those of you who have had a c-section, what did you need at the hospital? What did the dads need that they wished they had?
Thank you so much for your help!! Almost Aunt Danielle

My own pillows and a robe... with the drugs you are on and being attentive to your new baby there isnt much time for anything else.

I had; My own pillows (if she is bfing an extra pillow will help A LOT), my own nightgown and robe and a towel! The hospital towels stink.
Also, because of all the drugs that are given often the women needs a bit of time to sleep without vistors. I think that is also important to give...time without vistors.

GAS-X!!!!!!!!!! You are very gassy after.
For the mommy if she has long hair a ponytail holder. I was dying in the hospital because I forgot mine.
Make-up some mommies like to look there best. (I brought it & never used any)

I think that is true of all births... Patrick says I looked like I went 10 rounds with Mike Tyson!

Definitely your own pillows - after that, it's pretty much the same as you would pack your bag if you didn't know you were having a c-sec. I would definitely bring flip flops and comfy p.j.'s and don't forget the baby book so they can put the footprints right in there!!
