tiaras- Did you guys get a separate one to wear to your hair trials?

I ordered mine to wear for the wedding, but i wasn't sure if I should get a cheap one to wear to the trials so the good one doesnt get messed up! Anyone know of a place to get a cheap one for that?

IMO i wouldn't buy another one. The hair trial isn't hard on the tiara. They tend to be sturdy enough to just sit in your hair. Plus you won't get the true effect of how it will look like with the one you're wearing the day of.

i just wasnt sure about getting hair spray all over it and ruining it.

No I'm not.

But they told me don't get hair spray on it, it'll dull the Swarovski crystals and make them yellowish. For the trails, I'm going to tell my stylist to spray my hair before putting my tiara on.

While i brought my tiara with me to the trial, I did not use it with the final 'do'

The girls I went to had a tiara she usess for trials... and since it was rather similar to mine, I just used theirs to give me an idea. Visually it gave me a good impression of what my hair will look like on my wedding day.

BUT I do not think your tiara will get too messed up, anyhow. If I used mine at the trial, I was planning on having the stylist put in on LONG after she was done spraying (or using any other styling products)

I think you should use the real one and then have it cleaned........I don't want my stylist having any difficulties that morning trying to figure out how to work with a new tiara........jmo

Also I used my tiara in my hair trial and realized I HATED how it felt and now I am getting a new one. I would have hated to walk around with that comb digging into my skull all day. The only way I would have know is if I had done my trial.

I didn't do this and I kind of wished I did. Everytime I went for a trial I asked the stylist to not spray hairspray near it, but just by sitting in my head with all the hairspray already on it or by the hairspray being sprayed by other stylists it is bound to get some on it. My tiara still looks sparkly and clean, but I am anal and from now on I will use a cheap stand in for trials.
