C'EST PAPIER INVITATIONS...ALL BRIDES WHO HAVEN'T ORDERED THEIR INVITES YET PLEASE READ

I am in the process of ordering my C'est Papier invites. I got my first proof in and I wasn't really happy with the font, so I made some changes. The company (C'est Papier) is charging me $75.00 for another proof!!! How ridiculous is that!!
Honestly, if I could cancel my order with them I would and I would have no problem finding another invite, but they (C'est Papier) won't allow me to cancel and they won't refund me my $$$.

This is just a warning to all brides who are thinking of ordering C'est Papier invites: While they design beautiful invites, they are an extremely difficult and unfair company to work with. I wish I knew this as I would not have placed ordered my invites from this company.

Once my order is complete they are getting a nice letter from me.

No way..
They can't REFUSE to refund you.

You made payment for a product in good faith that they would produce that product. You have a right to cancel your order at any time. Perhaps they can keep a small 'administrative' amount for the work they HAVE done, but they can NOT hold onto money for the whole order if it's NOT complete yet. And since the proof was goofed I doubt they've made the batch yet.

I'd go up to the top on this one!!
NO WAY IN HELL!

How much was the first proof? Did you have to pay at all for it? Was it a 'hard proof' i.e. the actual invite itself or a 'soft proof' i.e. a fax or a printout of the invite?

Most places charge 10 or 20 for proofs. That is ridiculous!!!

I ordered C'est Paper Invites and had the same issue. I know a lot of companies do charge you to make any changes. They have to reset everything so they charge you for that.

Just know that many times the proof looks very different than real invite....this is why we decided to leave ours the way it was. We recently received our invites and absolutely love it.

What? That is insane. My invites are not cheap, but the only charged me $25 for the first proof and $15 for the 2nd (i changed the font as well). Actually, I not only changed the font, but then chose an entriely diff another font for one of the letters that i didn't like. Although it is more work, there is no extra cost for chosing another font for one letter.

I guess it depends on the company (ours are not from c'est). Did you pay the full amount up front? They should have only charged you 15-20%. Final payment due when order is completed.

ETS: my proof were sent via fax. the only thing i can think of is if yours is engraved, than i can somewhat understand the cost (making new plate). however, it is thermography then all that needs to be done is to change the font type on the computer. the info (wording) is already saved.
