Repost from BHB--- Need help with Bridal Party on Wedding day

I have 7 girls in my wedding party.
They all want to get thier hair and makeup done- and they would all get it done by the same person, all at my house.

Here is my question:
Is it too crazy to ask them to be at my house at 8 in the morning for a 2:30 wedding???
Is that CRAZY?

I replied to your thread on the BHB board. I think it's perfectly fine for them to be there at 8 AM. I was once at the brides house at 6 am for hair and make-up. No big deal.

you dont' think it's crazy since the wedding is SIX hours later??

what time was your wedding when you were there at 6?

I agree, its not crazy at all, and I'm sure they are not going to mind! I had to be at my friends house really early for her wedding, we had a great time getting ready together!!

The ceremony was at 11:00 am.

I don't think it's crazy either. Yes it is early, but that's the way it has to be for everyone to get their hair/makeup done.

I don't think its crazy. I would also talk to the hairstylist and make up artist and ask them how much time they will need for all 7 and you.

It depends on your bridal party. I know my Best Friend is not a morning person at all. As much as she would want to be there for me it's just not her. So in the case of my bridal party, I would probally have them show up in shifts. They will not all be able to get their hair and make up done at once so I would have half show up at 8:00 am and the others at like 9:00 or 10:00. But I am way too accommodating.

What a great idea!!! Sounds like fun and it should totally relax you the night before!
