Any Hotel Suggestions for Aruba?

We are going on our honeymoon in June. I am a teacher and we decided to wait until i was done with school. We are going to Aruba and i was wondering if any of you have some suggestions as to a Reallt Great Hotel?

Do you know of any that do All Inclusive? Was the nightlife enjoyable? Thanks

Re: Any Hotel Suggestions for Aruba?

We enjoyed our stay at the Hyatt very much a few years back. I thought that this Hyatt was nicer than then one in Maui. It is rated one of the best Carribbean hotels. THey have done remodeling on other hotels since I have been there too, but if I were to go back, the Hyatt is where I would go.

We stayed at the Marriot and loved every minute there. We had a beautiful and spacious room with a huge balcony and ocean view. The service was also top notch!

Re: Any Hotel Suggestions for Aruba?

Radisson is beautiful. I honeymooned there. Between the Radisson and the Hyatt, those are your top two hotels on the island. They are not all inclusive. I wouldn't recommend all inclusive in Aruba.

I second the Hyatt! We were @ port in Aruba on our our Honeymoon for a day and we spent it there. The property was so beautiful. When we go back to Aruba that's definatly where we will stay.

My first thought would be the Hyatt - the grounds are gorgeous, but I hear the rooms are smaller and not everyone has a balcony. We just came back from the Marriott and LOVED it! The rooms were spacious, nice balconies and a great pool/beach area

Re: Any Hotel Suggestions for Aruba?

I second don't go all inclusive because there are a TON of restaurants outside of the hotels that you MUST try. We met people on our honeymoon that did all inclusive and regretted it. They wound up going out with us to try some of the restaurants and bucking the all inclusive.

Re: Any Hotel Suggestions for Aruba?

I stayed at the Marriott for my HM- and did the all-inclusive package that the Marriott offered. We had booked this with the intent to still go out to dinner 5 nights.
2 of the restaurants we wanted to try were in the Marriott and were included in our package (doesn't get much better than that )
The food is amazing there, that's why most people would say you don't need an a-i plan there. We did it mostly b/c Aruba is also very expensive. A bottle of water is $5 bucks!
So, we added up breakfast/lunch and drinks, and found that even w/ going out to dinner 5 of our 8 nights, it was well worth it to us.

Hope this helps! We loved Aruba, and I wish I was there right now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
