My Sister (MOH) is pregnant!

My sis just found out yesterday that she is preggos with baby #2. Her first is only 13 months. I'm very excited, but I always knew she was going to be pregnant for my wedding. At least she won't be ready to give birth at the reception

This is baby #1...I love her :)
So the dresses have already been ordered...now what? She's not going to be able to wear the original?

Congratulations, that's so exciting! What line of dresses did you pick for your BM? They may have a sample sale or trunk sale somewhere so that you can buy off the rack when it gets closer to your wedding and you have a better idea of how big your sister will be. Otherwise, you may just have to take a chance and order her a big dress now, and have it altered when the time is closer.

shes the MOH, so she can do something different...for a prego BM, I think empire cut is the easiest to work with

What an adorable neice you have!!!
My sister is also pregnant - she is my MOH. She will be 8 mos. at my wedding. We are ordering her an Alfred Angelo dress in a larger size and having it altered.

Congrats! I would call the place where you ordered her dress and tell them. Maybe they could order some extra fabric or something!

i had the impressionsl line two-piece and had two preggo BM's. depending on how your sister carries, she might be able to wear the dress. one of my BM's was able to wear the original dress we had picked out. if not - talk to the place where you bought it. my MOH was huge, so there was no way 2 pieces were going to fit her. we stuck with the same designer and got her a flowing 1 piece - in the same color as the other girls. she looked great!!

One of my BMs just got pregnant...AFTER the dresses came in. She called the store where we ordered them and they said all she needed to do was order extra fabric and they'll alter the gown to fit her. Congratulations!!

Congratulations!!!! Your niece is SO CUTE!!!!
Two of my BM were preggo for my wedding. They were able to alter their gowns by adding fabric. The bridal salon should be able to order more material to do that.
