I HAVE TWO MORE INTERVIEWS NEXT WEEK!!

Rockville Centre (South Side High School) and Hauppauge HS - they both left messages - back to back on my machine this morning!
Pray for me, cross fingers...etc!!

i would LOVE to get RVC!!

YOure in a school now?? How do you interview/leave the job you are doing to go interview?? Make excuses??

As you know I just posted about getting a leave replacement, but im hoping that come the spring, something might come up for the fall. But interviewing for the schools is so difficult. Not only can it be 3-4 interviews, but they give you times right smack in the middle of the day.

Im just venting, because Im going through it now. Im constantly having to lie to work to go to interview, and now im filling out paperwork, getting fingerprinted, i feel guilty.

if your current school cannot hire you for the fall they may help you out...when you start working start feeling it out...who you can ask...

Amy - go look at my response to your post about getting the leave!! I am doing leaves - as of right now - there are no positions open at my school for next year - who knows if that will change - one of the counselors is up for tenure and it's very iffy - i get along really well with everyone and they are all happy and anxious for me to find a perm job - so they have been very accomodating regarding interviewing - ive been lucky!!

I know the superintendent for the RVC schools...are you intervieing with him?

I don't know him well. HIs father in law was a neighbor of mine.

He's very nice though.
