How far in advance should I order my dress? Bridesmaids dresses?

I dont want to order them too early, because the styles might change and new stuff might come out...

a lot of girls order them about a year in advance

I ordered my dress already, I love it, but I do have doubts sometimes, then I go look at it and fall in love with it.. I got one, that will never go out of style..

as for BM dresses, I'm not sure yet, I think April 10 we're going to look,just to get an idea of what we watn..

The bridal shop I went to said about 6 months for bridal gowns and 5 months for BM but it really depends on the designer...

It depens on the designer. But if you definately love something don't wait or else it might not be there when you want it.

I ordered my gown (Eve of Milady) April/May '03 and they said it will take about 7-8 months for it to come in.

And I ordered my Bridesmaids dresses (Belsoie) in July '03 and they came in March '04 (I think because I ordered them so far in advance that the manufactor held it for a little)
