I just saw it on the news. Great idea for those buying/have homes! Not sure if it began yet, but it's in the works...

this is the funniest thing. FH is always joking that if it were up to him we'd register at Home Depot. my response has always been thank goodness home depot doesn't do registries!!!!!! too funny.

actually it is a really good idea for those who have a new home.

My cousin registered at Home Depot...I bought her the ceiling fan off of it. The only prob is that the workers at Home Depot are not real familar with gift registries and didn't really know how to pull the registry up or scan it that I wa buying something off of it.

i think thats a great idea. i was trying to convince Fh to have a tool party while i was having my shower. melissa joan harts husband did that before their wedding.

Friends of ours who got married last year registered at Home Depot.
I thought it was great. They had an engagement party and since the groom is a friend of FI's he wanted to get him something. We got to give them something for their house that he really wanted.
I think it's a great idea.

We're thinking of doing this! I figured I'd have to do it at Sears or someplace. This is definitely great because I know we'll be needing a lot of things to fix up our future house.
