Re: Friday, May 14 happy hour GTG, NYC

Well, if you want to do dinner, we can try Tony DiNapoli's (they have room for alot of people), Friday's, AppleBees, etc.

Re: Friday, May 14 happy hour GTG, NYC

I work in the upper sixties on the Eastside. I think a bar/restaraunt in the midtown or downtown area would probably be the best situated for people to get to. Drinks would be good. I've been to DIP and it gives everyone the option of eating or not.

I think midtown is a good idea also. That way I can get on the LIRR.

La Margarita in the Village!!! The best margaritas ever!! Plus some really awesome Tex-Mex appetizer type foods. I haven't been there in a while, but it should still be there. It's on Bleeker.

ETA: Count me in for this one!!!! Wherever it is!!

Re: Friday, May 14 happy hour GTG, NYC

I know I'm probably in the minority here, but I would prefer if we could meet somewhere in Union Square or below. I have to travel back to SI after, and chances are, unlike those of you going to the LIRR, I won't have anyone else to travel with at night. Union Square is usually a great place to meet b/c a lot of subway lines and busses go there...it's pretty central and easy to get to. What do you girls think of that?

Re: Friday, May 14 happy hour GTG, NYC

I like the sound of DIP, it gives the option of eating and it's near the east side trains that go to bowling green for the SI-ers, and also isn't too far from Penn for the LI-ers.

Would DIP be ok then?
