well tomorrow is the big day for meeting her and my sister and brother! i think i am as nrevouse as i was on my wedding day! so many emotions going on right now! i told my adopted mom today and she would not talk to me for a little while. i was exspecting that.. she is upset which is to be exspected but she is not trying to stop me! the main thing she was worried about was my daughter and my sister's son... we are not bring them with us .. i want to see how things go first before i even bring her into it! if things go bad then my daughter will not be affected by all this! well wish me luck! i will let you know how it all goes tomorrow when we get home around 4:30!

Being a step-mom, I can totally understand why your adopted mom is upset  I would be very upset if my step-kids mom popped back into the picture after I raised and took care of them. All I wanted to say was.... just remember who took care of you and try to remember your adopted mom's feelings... to me, I would think that she is your real mom since she always took care of you. JMO! Good luck with meeting your other mom tomorrow.

i am taking that into concideration trust me i am!!!!!!!!! i think this is more of just a one time meet and just keep in touch over the phone and computer! i am worried about my real mom and yes she is my real mom she did raise me and i feel my b mom is just a person who gave birth to me and i need to fill those naging questions!!! i am not going to bring my b mom into the picture full time that will hurt my mom to much! and i don't need to confuss my daughter any.!

I realize that every situation is different I just wanted to tell you that my sister's BF was out of her life and then she was raised by my dad who she loved very much. She was always curious about her BF and like you when she got a little older she worked hard to find him and after 32 years she did. She found him living in upstate NY and at first my dad was very upset, like this man was going to take her away from him, a totally natural reaction. Once my dad saw how happy my sister was to meet her BF and that my sister wasn't going to write my father out of her life, he too was very happy for her and accepting of the situation. Now she talks about her BF often and visits with him and nothing about her relationship with my dad who raised her has changed. They are just as close as they ever were. I'm sure your mom will feel the same way once she has time with herself to deal with this and she sees that you aren't going to love her any less.

i am tring to get the pics from today to post!
the first picture is of me and my little sister alice!!!! sooo sute! them the second pic is of my b mom and alice! i tried to get them all together but was having a hard time! look down for more pics!

The meeting was great today! again i want to thank all of you for your great support! the bus was an hour late due to a flat tire! so we lost an hour but we did make it to chucky chesse and eat then me and alice hit the games! I got to see my birth certificate and some picks of my brother who could not be there because he was sick! but the next time we will get to! and yes there will be a next time ! we had a great time and no bad vibes! thanks again! for all you support!
