Re: Seven days left, any advice for me?

my advise is the BREATHE!! That was my mantra all week. Really though, enjoy it all. just take it all in. It will be over so fast I cant believe its tomorrow already. and if you can take that extra day off work, take it. I was just going to take off friday, but I really did need thursday too. There is so much little stuff you will want to do!

Re: Seven days left, any advice for me?

Thanks,
I am taking off thursday and friday from work. My sister was here last night helping me wrap presents for the rehearsal dinner. It felt like christmas with all the wrapping we had to do. Today is chocolate making with some bridesmaids. Things are going well, THANK GOD!!

Re: Seven days left, any advice for me?

My advice, enjoy every minute of your day!! Don't stress about little things that may go wrong, because in the long run, you'll probably forget about them. Take time at your reception to just look around and see everyone just dancing or sitting and eating and having a great time. I made sure that at dinner time, I just sat up on my dais and looked around at everyone and how great they all looked and how much they were laughing and having a great time, and that is a memory I will never forget. Take a peek into your reception room before the party starts and everyone goes in. Just so you can see how beautiful it looks beforehand. Umm, what else, make sure you get pictures taken with everyone you want a picture with. I missed a few people I wanted a picture with because it was so crazy. Most of all dance, mingle, have a great time and enjoy your new husband, because before you know it, the day is over and just a memory. I know people say it all the time, but the day truly goes FAST!!! Once you hit the church, you have absolutely no idea what time it is (watches don't go with any of the ladies dresses, Ha Ha). Have an awesome day and enjoy this last week as a single gal. Spend a lot of time with family, because if your going on your honeymoon right away, you won't see them for a while. If I think of anything else, I'll let ya know. Just have a great week and wonderful wedding!!! Oh and Good Luck!!!

Re: Seven days left, any advice for me?

my advice is too step back ever now and then and just take in all that is happening around you. you plan for months and when the day comes it just goes by in a whirlwind. my sure that you try and greet as many guests as possible because it does mean a lot to them that you take the time to greet them when they know your so busy. try and remember that whatever happens happens if someone makes a mistake roll with it at this point the day is here and crying or getting angry will only ruin your dayt and fh day. you spent too much time and money not to enjoy. lastly i would say to make sure you eat something. have a great wedding and enjoy

Re: Seven days left, any advice for me?

relax and enjoy - try to spend time beofrehand with anyone coming from out of town - realize that inevitably something will go worng (litle or not) and that there is nothing you can do so just don't even let it bother you...have fun....smile and laugh and take a short bit of time just oyu and fh to go out on onoe 'last' pre-marriage date (dinner and movie or something claming and silly)...you both need it to help relax!
