Making Menus? Have a question

I saw a previous post about menus...are you supposed to make them, but does the hall provide them? Or am I better off doing them myself so I knwo they will look nice. I like doing crap like that, personalizing it so I know I did and I don't have to rely on anyone doing it a way I don't like....Does this make any sense?

What to use? Thick/blank invitation type paper?

Thanks!

I agree with you. I want to do my own as well so that I can be creative. Then again, my hall provides just one menu per table and I'd like to have one card per every other plate next to it, also for the reason that my tables are oval and I would like it better that way..

Re: Making Menus? Have a question

Most halls do not provide menus. I made my own with carstock and vellum paper.

Re: Making Menus? Have a question

it depends on your hall.
I am going to call mine and ask this week. I don't think they do or they would have mentioned it, b/c they mentioned place cards & other little things.

Re: Making Menus? Have a question

You can either make your own or if you are using a calligrapher for your invites, they also do menus.
