anyone live in the miller place area?

we're moving there this summer- just wanted to see what fun things there are to do there.

it's a big change from the city

yes I live in Miller Place yeah u have Port Jefferson which is really fun in the summer time to hang out go walk around town get some starbucks go to some bars or just watch the boats come in and out!! Or there is cedar beach that is fun to go to get some sun if u have a boat or jetski u can bring them out there also!! It is fun out there but i'm proably moving back down to the south shore cause my parents live down there and I always down there anyway it make no sense to live up on the north shore anymore!! Fiance was from shoreham so that is why we stayed up there!! u also have a lot of new places opening up there!! where are u going to be living by?? My gym is there also powerhouse in the friendlys shopping center so if u want a good gym to go to go there!! well good luck

My family owns a summer home in Rocky Point which is 1 or 2 towns over.

But I really dont know what there is to do. I love fishing at the beach there.

I grew up in MP and my mom just sold her house a few weeks ago.
I always liked walking to McNultys ice cream parlor (on north country road) during the summer - but sometimes it is so busy its not even worth it.

I live near there also and it is very nice. Cedar Beach is great to visit during the summer. I even go now just to sit in my car read and have a cup of coffee.
