Can I be a drama queen for a second?
Darn it, Im soooo mad. You know how every bride has the one thing that she always wanted at her wedding reception? Well I have two things. The lil chocolate cups for the cordials (which I have) and pretty chair covers. I just called my reception hall and inquired about who they recommend and she said because the chairs are oversized, it usually runs about $8 a person.
Not only can I not afford that, but its difficult trying to find that size in the first place. BOOHOO!!!!

I'm so on the side of making them! They are very easy to make from what I hear. I'm not much of a sewer, but I would help if needed!

Re: Can I be a drama queen for a second?
I personally think they add so much to a room. I am not going to do them because I just started to see them recently and I am not in love with them...it is not on my list of must have's but I think they are so gorgeous!!!!In all the magazines I open they are on all the chairs and they are just a decoration, but they are really nice. Re: Can I be a drama queen for a second?
Oops, sorry I had to actually work for a hot minute, but Im back. Thanks for the sympathy. Ya, I know Im making a big deal about the chairs, but I really like the way it looks. Gives an air of elegance, if I must say. I seriously had my heart set on them, but with all the added expense, I just cant afford it. At least I stil have my chocolate cups (even though I am a diabetic
) The chocolate cups are thumbsized cups that you fill with a cordial (my fav is kalhua or irish cream) then down it like a shot and eat the cup.MMMMMMMMM!!!

Re: Can I be a drama queen for a second?
So sorry to hear that. Just a suggestion, but it might be worth calling around. You said in your message that you asked your hall who they recommend and they said it's $8 per chair. Do you think a place that is not affiliated with your hall would have a better price?

Re: Can I be a drama queen for a second?
I've also seen ones online for like 2 bucks a chair. You have to look around.

Re: Can I be a drama queen for a second?
I like the way the chair covers look.and I was complaining about $5.00 a chair.
Guess that's not so bad compared to the $8.00
Well you do have plenty of time to make them if you needed.
I don' t so I will stick with the plain chairs.
