Not from Long Island and looking for rehearsal dinner location
We are staying at the Huntington Hilton and I am sure where to have the rehearsal dinner. I am looking for affordable because we are having about 50 people. Any suggestions?Restaurants?

Not sure how close the Hilton is to downtown Huntington, but there are lots of good restaurants there. One of my favorites is an Italian place... Tello's. There's a big room in the back that I've seen people use for parties.ETA: Oops... I just noticed how many people you're having. You could probably find something a bit less pricey!

I am having my wedding at Crest Hollow and have many many guests staying at Hilton...I am pretty sure we are going to have our RD at Theodoro's on 110. They have a private room and it will be big enough...I am having about 60. Good luck.

Ditto.
My FMIL is having the RD at the Marriot, our guest hotel. It was the best deal she could get, and we all liked that the OOTs could go right up to their room after dinner. No one will get lost (or drive drunk, if it comes to that.) And they lowered the rate for the rooms because we're having the event there.

SUREIf you go NORTHBOUND on 100 you have
1) EAST chinese buffett (Very Popular not chessey at all) across from Walt Whitman Mall
2) Bertuchies- An Italian Pizza Place but have very nice rooms for parties located near EAST
3) Inside the mall in Sacs theres a Sushi place thats in the higher price range
4) California Pizza also in the Mall (for the more exotic pizza * Salad, Pineapples, chicken and such on pizza)

What about a Chinese restuarant, a lot of them have a room for parties and it is very reasonable, especially if u pre pick the menu. We did this for our out of towners last week and had a luncheon and it was very affordable.
