I never heard of this. I am nervous I am not going to like it. He said you aren't supposed to have any hair in between the tiara and veil, hence velcro. But I am thinking if I want to take it off during the night and move it lower for more comfort, there will be no comb attached. Plus, I don't know if the veil will raise high enough over the tiara. Is anyone doing this??

I am and it's common. My hairdresser who has done hair for many brides said it's common and a good idea. Unfortunately she's not coming to my wedding now (she's also a good friend, she has a family obligation that day) but she will show my BM's how to take it off for me.ETA - oops sorry - my veil is NOT velcroed to my tiara - I read your post wrong. My blusher is velcroed to my veil.

OK about the not having any hair between the tiara and veil - I dont' know why he said that (the young tall guy right???) because I am wearing my tiara in the front and my veil is behind my bun and he didn't say anything about that to me. It's so that if any brides don't want the blusher after the ceremony but want to keep the veil on they can take the blusher off.

If you are wearing the veil behind your bun, that is a totally different look and yes, there should be hair between the tiarra and veil. I am wearing my veil right behind my tiarra. that is when he said there should be any hair in between and is velcroing the veil to my tiarra.Welcome New Vendors
