Home Improvement Loan?

We would like to take out a loan to do some things around the apartment. (Bathroom & Kitchen) Is this easy enough to get? This is our first apartment and we are totally clueless. Can anyone help me? Thanks!

I know you can go to your bank or credit union and get a equity loan or line of credit and use that to make home improvements.

Unless you get a personal loan which will probably have higher interest than the above options I think those are your best bet.
