Need inexpensive place to have a REHEARSAL DINNER
I was looking in the East Meadow, Bellmore, Merrick, Levittown area for around $20.00 per person. Have any ideas?

Re: Need inexpensive place to have a REHEARSAL DINNER
I looked at Olive garden for a shower and it is 12.95 per person or 9.95 per person depending on the menu, The room hold about 30 people and you can run a liquor tab or they can do the bigger bottles of wine on the tables.

Maybe South of the Border on Wantagh Ave. in Levittown -- they are very reasonably priced. Also there is an Italian place on Hempstead Tpke, by Dortoni...my sister had a dinner event there and it was very reasonable. I can't remember the name but if I think of it I'll let you know.

Re: Need inexpensive place to have a REHEARSAL DINNER
How about Dominicos in Levittown (Hemp tpke), Rana's in Merrick (Merrick Ave), Elisa's (North Jerusleum Rd), or La Novella (East Meadow Ave). We just threw my Mom a surprise 50th Birthday party and looked at all of these places. La Novella was the cheapest so we went with them.Good luck!

Re: Need inexpensive place to have a REHEARSAL DINNER
Rana's in Merrick was $21.50 for a sit down dinner during the day. That included appetizer, 4 entree choice, dessert, coffee, tea, beer, wine and soda. That is if you have a daytime party. I think it was $24.50 for a saturday night.
Rana's is located on Merrick avenue in Merrick across from the Elementry School...
Excellent italian food. Danielle and I love that place. The lights are dim, and the place is usually empty.

Re: Need inexpensive place to have a REHEARSAL DINNER
We're having ours at Jillian's in the Source Mall. And it's about 20/pp, in their private room. We wanted somthing casual since the reception is gonna be formal. They have different menus and packages to fit your budget.

Re: Need inexpensive place to have a REHEARSAL DINNER
Hey I didn't know Jillian's had private rooms, thats a cool idea. How much are the average prices, and do you get to go play games during or after etc. That sounds really cool. Oh yeah, I heard some people check out those Chinese Buffet places in Long Island, they are usually all you can eat and about 15 dollars per person....maybe you can check those out, of course a reputable clean one. They usually have a variety of food for everyone's tastes.
