I haven't seen anyone else either with that date! how is the planning going? Did you do a lot? I feel like I have so much time its not necessary yet.

Stacey, We got engaged 9/27/03 so I pretty much started planning right away because I didnt want to have to worry about much over the summer. So we have all our vendors (except the video - we had a guy but decided to look for someone else). I have my dress and the BMs dresses...we need the tux still and smaller stuff like my shoes, what to wear under my dress...oh and the honeymoon. We still have to sit with our hall and pick a menu and cake...but at least we have vendors in contract. How is your planning going? I was really surprised that not many people are getting married on our day!!

So we are the 26th and 27th? Sounds good..
We have done all the biggies, hall, church, photo, video, band, invitations (i just ordered on Friday) Limos we are doing very soon. Ordered my dress. I think thats about it for now..basically have ideas for the rest...

How is everything for you ladies?

We did the honeymoon also, I got prices for the flowers already, our church told us to call in May to find out about pre-cana, and I didn't do BM dresses yet...I may try to get them from a department store..I don't know yet...all sounds good..

I feel like its too far away to get excited....

We are close also - November 28 at Atlantica! I still have a long ways to go in choosing vendors but I do have my dress and the place!

time is flying by though! i remember thinking oh.. i have 15 months for everything- now it's almost 7 months! it will be here before we know it, especially w/ summer coming up soon!

that is true...we only booked the hall in February..so we've been busy trying to get the major things done ASAP..but most of it is...

So now we are Nov. 26, 27, 28th!
Where are you all having your reception? We'll be at The Meadow Club in Port Jeff. We dont have to do pre-cana because my FI was married already and the catholic church wants a $5k 'donation' to overlook that and let us get married there...I just dont feel like I need to do that so we're getting married in an Episcopal church in Huntington instead.

Did you guys pic your videographer?? We still need that. Who did you use?

I know...seems like last week the wedding was still 15 months away for me too and now we're almost down to 7months!!
