(NWR) Anyone work in a school district??

(NWR) Anyone work in a school district??
on Long Island, (Suffolk County?)If you do does anyone know of someone there that is hiring for a teacher's position?? I'm looking around. The only thing is that I don't have schooling but a lot of experience.

If you don't have any schooling you can't work for the public schools... You can try the Diocese but they are even starting to crack down on hiring certified teachers....Good luck!

You have to have certification to work as a teacher, unless its a private day care. You can apply for a teachers aid position though and schools are always in need of that position.

I do... in Suffolk County. I work in a classroom but am certified in elementary and special ed. I am also finishing up a certification in Literacy.

My sister is an english teacher in the brentwood school district and they are hiring now-Granted it isnt the best school district-but the pay is very good!!!

I'm looking for a teaching job too--elementary. Right now I teach first grade in the Bronx, but I'm hoping to work on LI.Any openings, pass them along!

i just got excessed. i worked for three years as a physical education in a school in nassau county. if anyone knows of any positions out there for me too, it would be greatly appreciated.

I think School Districts usually start interviewing around now, but I know that the district that I'm in doesn't know what's going on because everything is pending on the budget. Good luck :)Welcome New Vendors
